Connect personal WeChat
Scan a QR code to connect the WeChat bot to this computer. Install and sign in to ClawPi, create an available workspace, and have WeChat ready to scan.
Connect by scanning
- Open Message channels in ClawPi and select Add account on the Personal WeChat card.
- Wait for the QR code and scan it in WeChat. Scan only the code generated by the current client.
- Confirm on your phone. If the client requests a WeChat verification code, follow the phone prompt and enter it in the current setup window.
- Wait for the account card to show Connected before closing setup. Closing the window does not confirm connection.
Generate and scan a new code if the old one expires. If scanning succeeds but setup is waiting, check whether the phone still requires confirmation.
Send the first message
Open the connected bot conversation in WeChat and send a simple text task. First contact triggers pairing. Return to the computer, select a workspace and approve using the connection and pairing guide.
Success means a paired conversation appears on the computer, its task is visible in the workbench, and WeChat receives a result. Approval processes the first message, so do not immediately resend it.
Everyday use
The desktop client must remain running and online. Check the account card for group support. Supported group messages must mention the bot, and each member pairs separately. Personal WeChat QR setup is different from WeCom Bot ID setup.

Connection problems

For persistent failures, keep the error text and timestamp and read Troubleshooting. Do not post QR codes, verification codes or login tokens publicly.
