Control your computer from a channel
Remote control lets a paired messaging conversation perform explicit desktop tasks on this Windows computer. It needs separate authorization; ordinary chat and pairing do not enable it.
Before enabling
- Use a Windows client with remote-control capability. Keep the computer online and unlocked with the client running.
- Complete channel connection and pairing, checking the sender and workspace.
- Find the conversation under Paired conversations and enable Allow remote computer control.
- Read and confirm that screenshots required for visual operations are sent to the configured model service.
Authorization belongs only to the selected conversation. Do not enable other conversations for one contact's task.
Try an observable task
Ask the paired conversation to open WeChat on the computer. The client uses the locally available applications; check the computer if the application is missing or unsupported.
Explicitly request a screenshot if you need visual verification. Observation screenshots stay local by default. An explicit request can return a valid screenshot from the current task to the source conversation.
Success means the requested application or result is visible locally and the channel receives a completion message. A requested screenshot must show the current result, not a previous task.
Stop and revoke
Press unmodified Esc in the ClawPi window to cancel active remote tasks. Turning off the conversation's remote-control switch also cancels active work and blocks subsequent operations. Ordinary local mouse or keyboard input does not automatically stop a task.
Cancellation does not undo clicks, input or file changes already completed. Stop the task before taking over the computer.
Limits

Channel conversations use a dedicated read-only permission mode that external messages cannot upgrade to full access. If an environment upgrade fails, check the workspace locally and use the provided retry action. Original conversation history remains available.
